My Time in Queenswood

On Saturday, I will leave Queenswood. It was a great time here. I found many new friends and had fun. I really enjoyed the time here. It was only two weeks and they past very fast. I'm happy to see my family on saturday but i'm sad to leave all the pupils here. The only one i really really won't miss are the food and the showers!!!!!!!! It is very stressful to take a shower here because you have to push the shower-button constant. I hate this!!!

Things i will miss are all this nice people here. The teacher were all so amiable and helpful.

I learned a lot here, this will be so helpful for me in Ireland.

Thanks to all :)

Life in the 16th century

I think my life in the 16th century would be very hard. I have to work every day and can't go to school. I must help my parents to earn money. We can't take a shower or have a wash so we would stink a lot. My clothes would be very dirty and dickey. We don't have a lot of food. I would be very arid and ill. My family would live in a small timber house which is very old and rattly. We would live in a small village with many familys. In our village would be only one standpipe where we could get some water. Only one time in week it is allowed to get one litre water. My father would work at a building-project for an important man. My mother would work in the village as a howdie. My two sister and me would work afield. Every morning, we have to get up very early and must start our work. Every day would be very hard and we have to try to survival.

Our first excursion to London

On wednesday, we went to the famous globe theatre in London. I never saw it before. it was very interessting... It is a little wooden theatre. The stage is very small. I never saw such a small theatre before. It's not the original globe theatre because it's burned down in 1613. At the top the theatre is open so if it's raining the viewers get wet. Independent from the weather the play goes farther. After we visited the whole Theater we went to the Theatre shop. It was great. After this visit, we went to a modern museum. It was very boring. I just saw uninteresting pictures but the museum shop was good. There was many interesting things but i didn't buy something. After this we want to go shopping but we coudn't cause we hadn't enough time.

Arrived at Queenswood

On Saturday the 18.7.09 i arrived with my three friends at Queenswood. The first impression was very nice. The people are nice but i don`t like the weather. The first day was a little bit boring but ok. Yesterday (Monday) was very good. It was the first day we had school. The teacher are all nice, i like them. In the evening we had Pro Tennis, it was very funny. It is very exciting here....
